The Portal to Dutch Life Science Discoveries 

To promote technology transfer and to improve accessibility into their newest research and inventions, leading Dutch research centers, universities and companies joined forces in 2005 and established the Dutch Discoveries Disclosed foundation. All inventions are now available through one single portal, the 3D system.

Dutch researchers and research institutes belong to the top of the academic world in terms of academic output and high ranking publications. The invention of the microscope and the CD and DVD are examples of products that have come from excellent Dutch research in the past.  Worldwide, the Netherlands belong to the top four applicants of European patents.

The 3D foundation stimulates the commercialization of Dutch life science based discoveries by organizing various international matchmaking events and conferences and by managing an international virtual marketplace.
